DIVA

This ATC was done as challenge, the theme is pastel colors. It was stamp, embossed and colors where added by dabbing directly from the ink pads with make up sponges.

This & That...

Today I have been experimenting with Mica Magic.... I'm not sure yet that I'm crazy about it...
Also, it could very well be that I'm not comfortable with the technique yet, and it's not because I didn't have proper instructions.... because Nicole K and Mary Jo McGraw have very clear instructions. Well I guess it's a matter of practice... So that just what I'll do practice!

On this card I used various colors of Mica Magic brayered as indicated let dry... stamp & emboss with Moon Glow.

Here is.... "WOMEN".

What a challenge....

Hello

I've been playing with this lady all week ... she was our Monday challenge image... at first she didn't inspire me ... then the more I looked at her the more I was asking myself why she was so unattractive ... because if you look closely she as nice feature then I all came into place....

When I was happy I used to smile....

A word of Thanks...

At this point of time it is important for me to thank all of you fellow artists and friends for your continuous encouragements and nice comments...!!!

We all know that for amateur artist like me and some of you these comments are our daily bread and butter... a nice tap in the back.

Being recognized for what we do with passion is very gratifying and for me this remains my ultimate reward.

I would like to list a few comments that touched me the most:

Joan a good cyber friend of mine said about " Gone baby gone",

"For you to bring out these feelings with a piece of paper or two is magnificent, and you are a true artist, from the soul. "

Dorothy a special cyber friend of mine said about " Do you think I can fly"

"I think you already ARE flying (with your Altered Art and your ATCs)! I love the way your mind creates these amazing cards that make one think"!"

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU

A few ATC....

The latest Vintage ATCs I've been doing.

FIRST ATTEMPT WITH THE STAZON TECHNIQUE

Unfortunately I didn't not have a wide variety of StaZon color so I tried with Color box chalk which gave a more opaque look...! I love this technique and will try again this time with the appropriate ink and colors!

A nice workshop

I have been on a nice workshop this week end. I've been wanting to learn the different techniques that can be used with Pearl X... I love working with those powders and find that they are such a great addition to any project ...!!!

MICA AND PEARL X

My first project was done with stamps background on which we applied Pearl X, the second layer is Pearl X on glue and I added "black Webing from Krylon". The third layer is mica with Utee and Pearl X than butterfly stamped in!
Micro beads where added for dimension... Et voilĂ ... I must say that I love the colors... and I'm quite pleased with the result!

PEARL X AND INK

Pearl X and ink applied and blended together... what a beautiful way to create stunning backgrounds!!!

The tile was done with several coats of UTEE and Pearl X was added to the last coat and then stamped.
